Solaris Upgrades

Upgrading the Solaris operating system is generally a straightforward process, and Chackett Consulting usually can perform independent upgrades on multiple servers within a day. In some cases, clients have
a need to upgrade large numbers of servers, in which case, a jumpstart type solution can be implemented.

Most often we perform upgrades from SunOS 2.6 to Solaris 7, or from Solaris 7 to Solaris 8. We have already performed several upgrades to Solaris 9 for customers in their testing and QA labs.
