Google Adwords Workshop
Thanks for watching the Google Adwords video, I hope it was helpful for
you. I really wanted to give a no-frills demonstration of
what it looks like to set up a Google Adwords campaign.
A lot of people think getting your information to show up on
Google pages is really difficult or really expensive, or both.
In reality it's neither.
The problem is
that no one has ever taken the time to show you, step-by-step, just
what it takes.
In the video, hopefully you saw that getting the basics down doesn't
take a rocket scientist. But there are a lot of things we
didn't talk about that can make a huge difference in your campaign.
For example:
- What's the difference between "broad match," "exact match,"
and "phrase match" and how or why does it matter to me?
- What is the difference between a campaign, an AdGroup, and
Ads. It's important to understand the relationship.
- What is the "content" network vs. the "search" network.
Why can I bid different amounts in each?
- What is the "Google Slap" and how can I avoid it?
- Why should I "split test" my ads, and what the heck does
"split test" mean?
- The importance of segmenting your campaign to track
effectiveness
It really would be possible to spend a whole day going over Google
Adwords and how to get the most out of it. On Saturday,
February 16th at 9:30 AM, I'll spend around 2 hours reviewing all the
basics you need to understand in order to have confidence in your
ability to set up, manage, and tweak a Google Adwords campaign.

tried to set up and manage an Adwords campaign and you didn't know what
you were doing, you know that you could easily watch that much money
fly out of your account in a matter of a day or even a couple hours.
The Workshop will be a live event, and I'll be accepting your personal
questions and attempting to answer and help you on an individual basis.
Because I try and offer this type of personal attention,
"seating" is limited, and I would encourage you to sign up early.
Another bonus that I'm thinking of offering is the limited use of a
special tool I use to help me generate keywords. Keywords are
really the lifeblood of you adwords campaign, and I have a special tool
that I use which automatically generates hundreds and hundreds of
relevant keywords. If we have time, I'll take keywords from
the audience, put them into my utility, and share the results!
This tool by it's self cost more than the class.
